Aline is the founder of Gallery 246 and is still lending vitality to the local arts community and Main Street revival. Aline is an Arkansas native who works in watercolor, acrylic and sculpture.

Decorating cakes rekindled a passion in Helen to use her skills in making all kinds of art and trying new techniques. It gives her a sense that she can do all sorts of creative things outside of the job.

Karen Baker specializes in watercolor, acrylic and polymer clay art. She works mainly in pastels, with occasional forays in acrylic. She also makes jewelry and teaches art and cooking.

Merry Anne has always enjoyed drawing. She and her husband are retired, and she enjoys working with charcoal, pastels, acrylic and experimenting with techniques.

Nancy who works in oils, finds inspiration in the great outdoors. Her major loves are her family, Jesus, art and her little fur babies, states, “I believe to paint a good picture, it has to come from your heart.”

Schaaf has been drawing or painting since she could first hold a pencil or crayon. For an extended period of time, she painted oil portraits, but then returned to her first love: watercolor, especially landscapes.
