Ruby Schaaf

Ruby Schaaf is a native Mississippian who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern Mississippi.

She paints with an expressive style in a variety of subjects and media. Her art has ranged from oil and watercolor portraits, watercolor landscapes and local scenes, acrylic figure paintings of local people, and mixed media collage leaning toward abstract. She appreciates the uniqueness and beauty of local scenes and people.

Her art has been juried into shows in Mississippi and Arkansas and won the Gold Award for the MidSouthern Watercolor Society Annual Exhibit.
