Plein on Main 2021

Gallery 246 invites artists to “Plein on Main,” a plein air contest in Arkansas’ oldest town. That’s an open air, live painting competition, where you will work in your favorite medium outdoors in Batesville’s downtown district Friday, Sept. 10, and part of Saturday, Sept. 11. Your completed works will then be put in our closing show to compete for the $600 First Community Bank Purchase Prize. Remaining works will compete for the $500 Robert Carius First Prize, $250 Dr. John Larson Second Prize, and $125 Kramer Farms Third Prize, Peco Foods Honorable Mentions and the Ron Autry People’s Choice.

The following photos show the artists and their works in the contest.
