Daniel Fleming was born in the oldest existing town in Arkansas and, because of that, he has always been interested in the historical value it has, which is often included in many of his paintings.

As an artist that usually bends toward the past, he strives to include a sense of beauty and peace that is also always felt in much of his art. In 1980, he attended the Memphis Academy of Arts and has continued his interest in basic painting through the years. In addition, he has done designs for The United Way and other popular charities, including cookbooks and T-shirts.
