I have been decorating cakes for around 8 or 9 years. The words “have your cake and eat it too” have taken on a new meaning for me. I have always been into art and crafts of all kinds, but have never pursued it much until recently. Decorating cakes as my full time job has rekindled a passion in me to use my skills in making all kinds of art and trying new styles and techniques. As I decorate cakes and learn more every day on how to use my creative gifts for that, it gives me a sense that I can do all sorts of creative things outside of the job. It is so fun and drives me to keep creating.
